Hello my name is Chelsea. My husband Chris and I have been trying to grow our family and become pregnant for the last 5 years.

I have PCOS, polycystic ovarian syndrome with irregular cycles. Therefore I do not always produce an egg every month. Thankfully that seems to be the only barrier we have found in our “unexplained infertility” diagnoses. We are otherwise healthy and have a healthy uterus for a baby to grow and thrive.

Chris and I have attempted 9 iuis and one fresh IVF cycle with no positive pregnancy’s.

Since I am a US Air Force Veteran, the VA covered the cost of the iuis and medication during those attempts. However the VA insurance will not cover the cost of IVF. For our first IVF transfer we were blessed to be accepted by a grant local to us. They paid 2/3 of the cycle cost, and we paid remaining.

At this point we are trying to stay positive for the future and are not giving up on our fertility journey yet. As with each IVF transfer the odds of pregnancy increase. We want to continue our fight for baby Sweigart. We would appreciate any donation to help us along the way, even 5 dollars would mean the world to us.
